PATRASKs FIRST FULL-LENGTH STUDIO ALBUM IN 14 YEARS

“MMXX” is the result of the therapeutical recording we did during the pandemic year of 2020.

With a sudden limitation by borders, “MMXX” was recorded in three different countries during involuntary confinement:

The source material has been harvested from all over the world – but the presentation of the music was born and bred in the creative space provided by distance and solitude.

SAINT LARS CHURCH RUIN

The reverb effects used on this record have been produced as convolution reverbs, with impulse response calculated from an acoustical model of the Saint Lars church ruin in Visby, Sweden. This model has been designed in an effort to reproduce what the church would have sounded like with intact ceiling and stucco finishing, as well as doors, windows and furnishings.
