Patrask are well known for their high energy (and volume) shows in taverns, on festival stages and in other settings where an audience bred on rock, pop, balkan brass and more needs to get their fill. Patrask is a sought-after ensemble at historical festivals and markets. The band is well-versed in performing at markets and fairs, adding an important authentic tone to the context while also providing a musical experience that is highly appreciated by market-goers.
Concerts
Patrask are appreciated for their concerts that are fit for historical settings as well as more modern day-esque venues and contexts. During the concerts, Patrask virtuously performs programmes tailored to a specific theme (such as a certain tradition, a period, a person et cetera) or mixed ”tasting menues” of a wide array of music, featuring a number of traditional and historical instruments and musical pieces. Theatre music
During the years, Patrask have been enrolled as theatre musicians on several occasions, laying down the soundtrack for productions such as ”Kongeblod” and ”Karolinerna Återvänder” (featuring some of the cream of Norway and Sweden’s actors). Patrask has also appeared as house musicians at various other shows, for example fire shows together with the Swedish jester/performance/acrobatic group TRiX in front of over 6 000 people
